I don’t think the parent actually worked there. It’s a direct copy of a Glassdoor review.

And I would argue that the need for crime is the problem. You seem to happily skip this step as if crime is a given. Take away the need for crime, solve the problem. The answer is to get rid of poverty and unequal opportunities. I’m not say

I fully agree, but the parent mentions an important word: probability. Combined with your luck, and kept going by grit, you most surely have a recipe for success. If everyone has 0.01% chance to become a millionaire (chance - that might not

I commented on the title, not on the French army. I’d struggle to see how they could be clickbait. Although maybe it’s a brand new cyberwar tactic?

"Planned for 2023, Exercise Orion is a full-scale divisional exercise that will last several days, based probably out of camps at Suippes, Mailly and Mourmelon. It will involve the full range of French military capacity on a scale not

Doing stupid things on impulse doesn’t and shouldn’t disqualify _every_ young adult. I read about a grandpa who gave his granddaughter the “volmacht” (no idea what the English word is) for his vote in the last election. She effectively cast

For how many hours billable? If you were comfortably billing 40 hours a week for 48 weeks a year that would amount to €134.400 / year. Assuming that Germany isn’t _that_ different from the Netherlands, good luck earning that while empl

I agree, but the general consensus in startup pop-literature (is that a thing? :D) is that you can never be sure unless you ask money and people are willing to pay. Otherwise people can just say they like / want / need it, without

I know it’s an april fools joke. But I’ve recently “discovered” why this is nevertheless very true. If you move slow, you have a higher chance of meeting the right customer, of actually allowing your idea to grow and improve over time. With

After having read Gates’ latest book on climate change, one metaphor that stuck with me was the one on nuclear energy. It’s as if the Wright brothers invented the first airplane, flew off, crashed, lost every passenger, and then we collecti

One interesting thing I read in a Dutch paper today was that a cyber security expert that was involved in the hack was surprised they kept using these specialized services. It’s very easy for authorities to get approval to hack and read _al

Yeah, you do need ML. But a tweakable one. I’ve built a crawler, scraped the first 10 pages of all public domains I could find, then made those billions of pages freely queryable with ElasticSearch. The result: moderately good. It was great
