Nature creates superfluous number of males (since one male ususally has most of females, like in a pride of lions, or a sultan's harem). Therefore those unattached males, who are still too young and inexperienced to fight the old ones,

With no nuclear weapons program there is not enough national impetus to maintain a reactor program, especially in face of determined Green opposition. I think only Japan has a large civilian nuclear capability without dual use.

'Never let a good crisis go to waste'. European leaders have long known they had to increase military ability, they just couldn't persuade their citizens.

It would (in CCP thinking) remove a major US ally from proxomity to PRC homeland, give PRC greater territorial and economic zones in the sea, give freedom of action to the PRC navy, and of course vindicate CCP legitimacy. Only problem is -

I have noticed that the 'American system' works best in - America, although copied all over the world. The cars, houses, gas prices, street width, availability and size of parking spaces, etc. are all optimal in the US. Even Cana

This sounds a bit like the question "Have you stopped beating your wife?" (perhaps today better to say spouse or SO). You're damned whatever you answer. Having said that, I think systemd can be an excellent tool suite. The th

It of course would only happen if the current regime were to fall. Perhaps 'annex' is too hard a word. Maybe 'cover all oustanding debts and throw in some lucrative personal deals for the current Kremlin warlord'? Napole

China may be playing the long game in more ways than one. Russia butts heads with West and undergoes economic and moral deterioration which may lead to rapid regime destabilization, after which China can annex Siberia, which is a truly worl

Antediluvian lifespans were order of magnitude greater. Methuselah was, I think, over 900 years. After the flood the lifespans became significantly shorter.

I personally have gone the route of 'unsupplementing', in the sense of greatly reducing caffeine intake and of not eating in the evening. Earplugs and cold air conditioning also help. Hope this helps...

Tyrannical or misguided management practices can temporarily increase fear, which masquerades as loyalty. The Soviet Union tried this. However, when the system finally truly needs support, it falls. Unheeded and unloved.
