They were, but rediculously expensive at the time. $100k+ at the time to have a non-replicated version on Oracle running on a multicore server. Dealing with Oracle was like dealing with the mob.

UBI would need to implemented as a Negative Income Tax where all welfare programs are effectively replaced by the NIT. I think the one caveat would be that for UBI to work under this model, that there is universal healthcare in the mix. The

Why not simply have the cluster sync a time between themselves? First node in the cluster gets the time, and as the new nodes come online they set their own internal time via the cluster? So in a world where there is not NTP or atomic clock

I do read through the source code of any external package I use in Go. I do the same thing in all languages. That is why I tend to use as little external dependencies as possible.

I would say Go. Stick with the standard library and you compiling for all the supported platforms is pretty straight-forward.

Go with a LLC. The paperwork requirements are minimal in most US states. It will also provide protection of personal assets in most cases, in the event there is a lawsuit, etc. I would also make sure that you get a general liability insuran
