I wasn't watching it really carefully, but wasn't it that they just specified that the output of HDMI and DVI can handle those? I'm at ~30 min still though.

Let's talk a little about 'kickstand'. Am I wrong in believing this hasn't got adjustable angle and is useless if the device isn't on an actual desk? Seems like the Achilles' heel of the entire device to me.

I'm using TabletPC as swiss knife for 3 years now and couldn't be happier with it. Native unobfuscated desktop experience? Check. Pro drawing with stylus? Check. Multi-touch for slacking around? Check. Power for development? Check. Personal

Agreed. The rest look mostly like non-square Instagram photos. That being said, I still prefer working of single machine, with virtualization. A complete take-away. Dropbox still hasn't stopped public sharing, so http://bit.ly/NtMjGd .

Sites aren't people. It's linking wp sites. Don't even see how this stands even in general concept of 'facebook rival'. Technically, it sounds plausible (?), but that's irrelevant.

True, also probably only to a certain extent. I have not really studied Apple, but last few years I have been checking out their laptop lines, I could only see cost increase of whatever is the current line.

I'm not downplaying that practice; of course it is common. What I do have trouble is the general sentiment that they go out of their way to help you, and it is just embedded in the price tag. And the blame for that is not even on Apple side

There is an impression that Apple does this for you, for everyone, as a completely benign and sane sales point for which they go lengths to acchieve. It's false. It's what YOU, the end consumer of Apple products, pay for - random people che

Given that Zynga was the biggest reason for Facebook growth second to nothing other than the Facebook itself, I can see how this could hurt the numbers. Then again, we all remember Farmville. We can live without that on G+.

I extensively test my webs manually on basically all relevant browsers, up to few old versions, and on different OS' and devices. My conclusion is that Chrome on Windows 7 is by far the most 'snappy' and Firefox on any OS most 'dev friendly

Great thought. Though, there's always a single choke point at which you could deny ANY number of services, including all the externalities. Even if that point is a little worst-of-the-worst case scenario.

I don't follow. What are they exactly patenting here (i.e. what doesn't one want to do not to get his behind sued)? Partioning a grid? An algorithm for efficiently partitioning it? In effect, what? Windows 8 gets sued? http://blog.docstoc.
