Except for the last bit, also Bitstamp (a slightly more reputable site) had the same story. They fixed it in a few days, though.

I concur. % formatting is extremely cute and I miss it in every other language.

I would claim that all sorts of money-making schemes that involve bitcoins are more or less still gambling.

I don't think I had heard of them before the quite aggressive attacks against MtGox just recently. Which were day later shown to be quite hasty, given that Bitstamp suffered from the very same problem. Criminal charges don't matte

My son's got an ADHD diagnosis and he seems like you. Whatever is slightly uninteresting is terribly difficult for him to focus on but if there's something interesting, he can maintain perfect focus for hours. I imagine it might b

Perhaps try porting your app to Sailfish (essentially Linux + QT5) and try the Jolla shop :)

I got used to how hg works and now, in comparison, git always confuses the hell out of me with its unintuitive commands and odd walls-of-text errors.

Some databases allow local shared memory connections. So, if you kill -9 a regular client that connects to the database that way, the whole database goes down. Fun times!

Sailfish OS is built on all the same technologies that are upcoming in the desktop/server linux world, namely systemd, pulseaudio, wayland. They even use BTRFS for the root filesystem. That is the real Linux phone.

Actually, Symfony seems like some kids went to basic OO design courses and took everything there seriously. It also causes the end product to be measurably the slowest in the world. http://www.techempower.com/benchmarks/

PHP certainly has features and it certainly is successful, and people are certainly doing stuff with it. It also certainly has severe and fundamental design flaws that are never going away. It's distressing to say the least to many of

It's the little, seemingly unnecessary complications, like http://bitflop.com/document/111 If there was awk, sed, find which did the same thing but were significantly easier to use, I would complain about them.

Are you serious? It took me 10 minutes with my Jolla to get the basic hang of it and after a day of usage, I don't have to think about how to use the phone anymore. It's a lot cleaner UX paradigm than any of the competitors'.
