He's making a wise investment decision - if Trump wins he will probably gain a lot in favors. If Trump loses, he will lose a little bit of money and some goodwill of some people. I'm sure he can live with that. Cynical.

As someone who recently got into programming FPGAs from decades of usual software development, it's not that bad. Takes a totally different mindset, but it's much more approachable than what it seems to be. Actually a couple of Yo

You could program any algorithm as a set of logic gates in hardware. Hardware can run completely in parallel so this allows insane performance gains for some tasks. FPGA are very close to ASIC (regular chips, like the CPU itself) in their p

There's no fall, Scala rose on TIOBE, not fell. His data is wrong or he's lying. Here's TIOBE for May 2012: https://www.scribd.com/document/94860678/TIOBE-Programming-C... .

It's a misinformation. Scala never fell on TIOBE. The whole premise of "fall" is this paragraph, and it's a lie: > The TIOBE index (www.tiobe.com) of software language popularity ranked Scala at #13 in 2012; now it’s

Yeah, I don't argue it can't be done in thousands (maybe tens of thousands) of years. I'm just saying it's probably unwise to focus and spend time and money on this right now. We probably won't even make it to that

We can't solve simplest problems on Earth (like re-capturing CO2 for example), but believe we'll be able to terraform a planet to which we haven't even been able to send a human yet?
