Remote is insanity now a days, it was a reasonable market a few years ago but not anymore. There's a glut on both the supply and demand sides. Many years ago there was a limited demand for remote work, which probably tapered the supply

I experienced a very similar broken interview process, but with Amazon (AWS). It appears this is more common at the big tech companies than I thought , judging from your comment and all the others in this thread. I was contacted three times
