It looks like you have a wrong metric for the productivity. A lot of projects failed just because developers created millions lines of code. The performant developer solves problems quickly, without creating problems for others, i.e. he unl

IMHO, we need more than one language in the shell: one to orchestrate launching of applications, plumbing, and processing of their inputs and outputs, another one for computations with integers, floats, complex values, arrays, matrices, ano

Unlike fission and like thermal pump, this energy can be used to heat buildings, so even if nuclear reaction can produce just 100-200% of additional energy, which is enough for about 30-60% of electricity spent, the device still can perform

When someone outside the LENR community will reproduce Cold Fusion experiment, he will be part of the LENR community immedialtely, so nope. However, you can look at results produced by Akito Takahashi[0]. Are they convincing enough for you?

It's ignored, because most labs in the world cannot reproduce it yet, because LENR is not well understood yet. However, LENR is not dismissed completely, see [0]. My own idea is that plasma micro-bubbles are hot enough to cause nuclear

Why 100? I see no barrier to adopt the LENR worldwide in a short period of time, when the effect will be well understood and easy to reproduce.

The initd job IS to launch other processes and reap zombies. (To non-technical people: zombies are childs which died when their parent is already dead, so a daemon must collect their souls). It's not a job of init daemon to manage cont

What you think about the idea of "function", a small piece of code which does one job, but does it well? Do you think we need one big function, which will unifies interfaces of multiple different functions, lets call it "syst

"UNIX way" is not an idea or a religion. It's a natural selection of small, understandable tools, which can be supported by any professional programmer.

I have more trust in bash than in C. I can enable tracing in bash script and then see how it executed exactly. IMHO, we should aim for an open standard for the init subsystem instead. For example, I want to implement my init system in Rust,

Why not just use PGO (Profile Guided Optimizations)? Sadly, PGO does not work with cross-language LTO, because of conflict of LLVM module name ('Profile').
