I cannot understand your question about "ownership policies". Rust have only one ownership policy: one owner per object. It's possible to use pointers to circumvent the restriction and then control when object is destructed u

String is heap allocated by default, but String can be made from raw pointer to buffer and buffer length: https://doc.rust-lang.org/std/string/struct.String.html#meth... . Yes, of course. BTW: You can use a c2rust

Superposition is easy to understand: when you are looking at a rotating wheel, it looks like it is in a superposition of Up and Down, because it rotating so fast. In quantum world, situation changes so fast and so fragile, than you cannot p

QC is very fast random generator attached to physical quantum network, which performs calculation. Network is designed in such way, that an end state of the network is a solution to a problem. When you sample the network, you can sample it

You can use your own allocator in Rust, with your own rules, OR you can use static arrays and then just reset aray length to zero at the end of frame. Your function is easy to write in (unsafe!) Rust: https://play.rust-lang.org&#

I'm engineer, so here my solutions: 1. Use sustainable materials for construction (8% CO2). 2. Use thick layer of sustainable insulation and climate battery to reduce need for heating and cooling to 0 (10% CO2). 3. Use cheap suspended

I'm thinking about something different: a site, where everyone can publish a fact or a statement, arguments that supports or contradicts the fact, and a process with goal to make fact proven or falsified. (Sorry for my English). Fa

Maybe we need to create a "factopedia", with strict process for verification of facts, to avoid bias at Wikipedia.

I'm an engineer from Europe. I have an idea of a light suspended rail for point-to-point transportation (personal public transportation). It should be divided into two main parts — 1) high speed, high performance network for city, and

Why not just extend a light rail system to suburbs? It will be much faster to have point-to-point rail than car + rail.

Ukraine was against nuclear power and nuclear weapons until war. Now, we need to have an ability to quickly produce few plutonium nukes in case of emergency, so we need weapon grade nuclear reactors to produce nuclear waste with plutonium.

The superluminal speed is not an infinite speed, it's just faster than the speed of light, of course, but it called "instant". For example, a photon of light is emitted or absorbed "instantly", which is not true, o

Who pushed Schröder to work with Gasprom and lobby Nord Stream 2? Russia started the war with Ukraine to help Nord Stream and Gasprom by capturing of Ukrainian natural gas fields, so Schröder is partially responsible for that.
