I'm sorry- perhaps I misunderstood. I thought you were suggesting that anyone who works for these companies MUST somehow be complicit in these encroachments by the government. If that's not the case, I think you're cool on n

I think you should eat brussel sprouts. My opinion entitles me to publicly deride you for failing to meet your moral imperatives. To do anything else makes you complicit in the great evil intrinsic to non-brussel sprout consumption. I am

It's actually the cult of law enforcement that we have to worry about. Also- consider whether or not your mainlining of the 2 team ideological spectrum is a result of efforts to keep you the citizen from really pursuing meaningful chan

Google is choosing not to leverage licensing opportunities that could solve this situation for all of the Google Experience Devices. This is not about the apache or gnu license. This is not about binary blobs. This is about a huge company

I do not think you understand the definition of hyperbole. I live 40 minutes outside of Seattle, in a rural area that is considered a great destination for a full day weekend bike loop. Our highways are curvy, have very little shoulders an

I quit biking because I realized it was unsafe. I am not sure why ostensibly intelligent people would engage in any activity where you are one texting teenager away from crippling injury or death.

Spectrum is only part of the equation... And if they didn't design things right, they won't be able to take advantage of spectrum differently like you propose.

This is super interesting. In full blown 4g networks, voice is going to be handled via sip traffic via an IMS core. Some things to investigate: Is Verizon using separate APNs for their voice and data. Based on what is presented, I am guess

If the feds were to audit the situation you are describing, I would wager they'd come after Google. Google has a lot more freedom and track record for asking forgiveness instead of permission than Paypal (i.e. wifi sniffing in google cars).
