This is most likely just a desperate grab by FB. Such a bad financial year with the stock debacle. They know they have let artists freely gain fan bases on facebook for years now so they are able to control it with an iron fist. A good temp

Even more scary was that it was a bill originally advertised as improving email security and then was quietly rewritten to damaging email security (but then wasn't advertised that it did a 180). Hurray for the internet. Hard to screw people

I think Moot.It should strongly consider the likelihood that they will be LOIC'd to death before they even are able to make enough customers to pay to get unDDoS'd to begin with. There aren't really many groups I'd be worried about pissing

The reason nobody can agree on the 'value of life' is because the value changes per context. Life has no intrinsic value of its own except to the person who currently owns it. When anyone says 'all life has value' they are talking spiritual

Um. Did this article just compare having face time with their doctor or case worker to product sales? Hey, since this isn't obvious, the reason we want more time with our doctor is because our doctor knows more than we do so we don't know w

I'm pretty sure a lot of engineers have "designed bridges" in their free time as a teenager before they realized they wanted to be an engineer. Hell I did a huge amount of hardware tinkering for both legal and illegal reasons when I was in

Yeah I don't think the interface requires a touch screen at all, or is even beneficial for it, at least on a desktop. I spent maybe 1 or 2 seconds combined in the 'start screen' simply cause its easy to use it to launch random stuff by hitt

That's exactly what I was thinking. If you like a fan page you should expect to get stuff from it. I don't get mails from facebook saying someone posts stuff, I only get notifications up on the little globe icon so I don't care when Princes

They need to normalize this against the general amicability of the population of the countries. Ask them if they like North Korea and Canada and use that as a general idea for if the country's citizens just happen to like everyone.
