I was thinking the same thing. This is just tricking customers into thinking the link contains less red tape and annoyance than it really does. It's the equivalent of having a ride at a state fair where you sit there and someone throws dog

Notch = John Ralphio? Nice office but it's almost too try-hard :P There are better ways to make good work environments than make it look like something out of a sitcom.

Completely agree. I was the kinda kid that built his own crystal radio and endless science kits like that. I used alcohol QTip and blowing, both self-discovered methods. And both equally effective, but solved different problems.

Be careful what you wish for... They could start microtransactions where you can 'Watch Hulu+ TV Episode with Ads for Free' or 'Watch this episode without adds for an additional $0.50' :P Then again, it may not be such a bad thing.

The last time I saw any mainstream news that wasn't part of a youtube joke clip or actually important enough to make it to news sites like slashdot was... well... I think this one time in 5th grade around 1991 I was forced to read a news ar

Yeah I mostly agree with you, except that I highly doubt that most people who use WhatsApp will actually hear about it having a security issue, let alone care about it.

Just because a skilled attacker can trivially find the information, doesn't mean that the 15 year old kid living next door to you can find it. Now they can. The problem doesn't stem from giving information to "l33t hax0rz" but rather provid

And scientists aren't very good liars. If you could science your way through a campaign then there would be more scientists going for it, but unfortunately that doesn't work.

That's definitely the way I read it too. I don't go out and buy Pentium 3's and install 256 MB of ram when I read video game requirements. Author must have a very cluttered room.

In the end, is there really any difference between making a game that is fun and a game that is addicting? I really don't think there is even if they went in with the idea of "lets make this game addicting". I've never once seen a game that

I have Windows 8 RTM installed in my 2010 Macbook Air. It works fine, other than the whole FULLSCREEN-FOR-EVERYTHING change that is entirely anti-gamer. I had to manually extract and install some drivers though since Apple has a check for O
