These tips are all great. Thanks for the article. My 2 cents from working over 5 years with NodeJS is to be careful when you sacrifice code readability over performance. `.forEach`, `.map`, `.filter` are way more readable / maintainabl

I’m actually surprised that around 64% of the developers are having a “Computer science, computer engineering, or software engineering” degree. I do my personal statistics for colleagues I’ve met and the percentage having no degree or degre

Well it's not like we have universal income, but increasing taxes on Fortune 500 companies always makes me happy. I really hope the taxes won't go into another corrupted Berlin airport scheme.

Using cookies with Domain option allows you to share a cookie between `api.site.com` and `www.site.com`. You can combine that with a `Authentication Bearer` for releasing a public API access.

You can position the tooltip on the left, right, top, bottom in the markup with a class name. This way if the tooltip is in the header you can use e.g. `tooltip-bottom`. Having 10kb tooltip library for doing this automatically is a bit of a

Most of them are oldies, but >goldies<. Tooltips are my favourite CSS-"trick". I've seen countless developers implement those with javascript, which is redundant if you know proper css selectors. On the other hand I don
