I've heard some reasons like : - Privacy issues - Owning critical service component Unfortunately I've never heard the reason that I think is the right one ( at least from what I can see is happening here ), which sounds like : &q

CircleCI is great! I use it almost everywhere. Unfortunately here in Berlin mostly everyone switches to self-hosted version of Jenkins at one point.

That is so sad for Berlin as well. SoundCloud is one of the companies that made the startup scene an actual scene. I know that SoundCloud's interview process is tough, so I guess it's a good day for companies looking for talent ar

Last season of House of Cards is dangerously close to reality this time. In US, Trump might loose his presidency. UK is a mess, based on wrong political decisions. I still wonder "Who is Frank Underwood and what does he win from all of

A bit weird. GitHub says they fixed it, but on the other hand CircleCI still considers it as an outage : > Monitoring > May 31, 2017 3:08 PM > GitHub have declared the outage resolved and we are starting to see incoming GitHub hook

Thanks. I actually wrote the comment, because of : > This enables writing code using async and await at all times, which is what any sane developer would do when writing code for Node.js.

Wow, what about good old promises? I totally dislike async, await, because they force you to switch to async code-flow-thinking.

I constantly use `.map` and `.reduce` out of bluebird. I'm not sure I will replace these soon, since it's out of the Promise A+ specs. As a matter of fact, does anyone have a benchmark of the new nodejs 8's promise implementa

Express is the most popular. As a freelancer I always enjoy when I see express as the framework of choice, since it's very easy to maintain the produced code and is very hard to go unmaintainable. As a matter of fact, what I don't

I would generally say that there is a reciprocal relationship of performance and maintainable code, no matter what you use. React is a powerful way to build your front-end, but it's power is in structure / code. In my experience w
