Yeah, I switched from GIMP to PaintNET and loved it for my simple needs, but because Pinta wasnt what I hoped it would be nowdays I just use http://www.photopea.com on any system, its basically PaintNET in the browser.

Very easy to say, but would require multiple years worth of salary for me to open that, and the location is not suited to a museum. A wedding venue maybe, but still the investment required to start that is beyond what I can do. I also do no

As someone who owns a castle/manor house and desperately wanting to sell it... I agree completely. At least theres normally no property taxes on listed buildings, but just keeping it from falling apart is enough to eat a moderate incom

A recent bandwagon to jump on is that you should never use reduce() for anything whatsoever, because it's always easier to read if you rewrite it. I'm not sure about it, but I have certainly seen some overengineered code using red

Sometimes I ask to get whatever they feel like making. Or if someone else got something and didn't want it, I'll take that. Helps fight food waste and makes your waiter's/chef's day a bit easier, which is nice.

I'm just speculating but maybe we could build a space station inside, using the shell as a natural radiation shield (apparently most asteroids contain material which can at least be made to be used that way). There is also of course th

Bennu will be very close to Earth in around 150 years and there is a very tiny chance it might hit us, but part of me wishes we had the means to capture it in Earth orbit as a lower moon.

I agree totally it is a privacy minefield but proofs of ID are already required by many institutions that have far less resources than tech giants. In Poland for example (where I'm from), the National ID is required in all sorts of sit

My point is that proof of ID or ownership should be implemented, as that would get rid of the problem. Edit: I need to point out that this should be optional. Anonymity should still be the default.

Unless you require a proof of ID, theres not gonna be a reliable way to identify fake accounts. You'll get the same sort of algo-driven mass mistakes we now see in Youtube.

I did mean the heat, not gravity. A Solar eclipse on Earth blocks all direct sunlight for about 10 minutes. My question is would that be enough to cause an earthquake, by suddenly cooling an area of the planet. I also realise the night bloc
