This post presents a very low effort argument. It's basically taking the argument "the only reason anyone would want privacy is if they have something to hide" and applying it to money "the only reason anyone would want

Exactly: I've actually been somewhat alarmist early on about this virus, but I actually agree with the article. We've had to make some crazy sacrifices in the last 2 weeks, but now that we've done those, things are actually l

The idea was to use a lot of gouraud shaded polygons (i.e. polygons with a gradient that goes to black) and the color space was designed, with the blitter chip, to make those kinds of polygons fast.

As a former Jaguar developer, I'm getting PTSD just looking at the diagram with the four different CPUs, all on the same memory bus in constant contention, all with their own unique machine instruction set.

Oddly enough, I was on the "pandemic" bandwagon early enough that my period of anxiety and insomnia has now passed already. People get used to new states of affair pretty quickly.

Surely you have elderly friends and relatives, give each one one of your masks (once things are dire enough that people will actually learn to use masks properly and not waste it.)

Telling people they should wear masks because they don't put them on properly is like telling people they shouldn't drive cars because some people drive them into trees.

I will argue this is wrong: Only N95 or better masks have studies proving their effectiveness. I don't think we have good data on weaker masks or even "home made" masks- It's totally possible they are also effective, wit

Obviously something like this would only make sense under extreme circumstances, when you have to leave the house, but can't use a fresh mask every time, because of shortages.
