To be fair, no notes service is worth paying for—they all have ridiculous cost for providing a commodity service.

All of those labels can describe social media notifications. The chance you agree with someone else on what they are is under 50%. Promotions should probably just be 'spam' in any email client that works for you. This approach of

> fair workplaces What is this? EDIT: I don't mean to snark, it just seems like an inherently utopian ideal. Material concerns should dictate workspace conflict resolution. I certainly agree with your overall statement.

To be fair, working less is exactly in the interest of the employee. It's much better than the scenario of "40 hours a week on paper but in reality it's whatever the employer needs" that is prevalent in the US.

Just to point out the obvious, that doesn't serve the main purpose of the union at all: collective negotiation with the employer.

> entrepreneurs who again created their own business- not rentiers I sense you're implying a meaningful comparison there. Why is being an entrepreneur better (or indeed, distinct at all) from being a landlord?

Lazy descriptions maybe, but how is this related to gaslighting? The parent comment doesn’t appear to be attempting to manipulate anyone.

Perhaps that’s true. I also don’t see many claims with reason that go or chess is somehow a uniquely difficult problem, especially given the language turn of philosophy. NLP is the major problem moving forward with human intelligence, and t

I would like to claim I thought similarly, but that’s such a milquetoast claim I don’t think anyone would remember. Chess is simply a search problem, trivially scalable if you just throw cash at the problem.

Capitalism means there’s a diversity of products and they are ALL bad. We need collectivization to actually produce software that primarily benefits the user.

It seems silly to reject regulation without seeing it and assuming the worst. After all, we already have the worst—closed source manipulative chat apps that exploit for profit for a small cabal of capitalists.
