Good info, interesting. It does add a layer of complexity that takes a bit more to handle. The point of moving away from stateful/naming was to prevent global state and bugs but you can also run into those in other ways as it is somewh

Very cool! Slightly different though in that 3dsen seems to be adding depth to sprites and a camera view outside the player, while tom7's puts you in the game on the level either top down or side view, walking in it as the player. I su

Metrics don't tell the full story and should only be a read, not the direction. Project management and customer needs or product needs should be the driver. We are at the point now where the KPIs have the wheel. If they were just calle

I think the point he is making is that competition will prevent others from being able to FOOM and 51% everyone else and "win" outright to the point that it is dangerous. Or competition will prevent one player from getting the &qu

Same happens with ratings. You can have the same app, one paid and one free, the free one will be rated lower because of perception. If a person pays for a thing they are more invested in making it something worthwhile and thus less attacks

You can make a separate file that has comments or even another JSON file that has descriptions by JSONPath or key. Some libs also support comments and trim before processing but I prefer the external/metadata way. Comments add weight.

McKinsey has many controversies. [1] McKinsey and Jeff Skilling used Enron as a "sandbox". [2] McKinsey is somewhat a consult cult that ruined agility with "Agile" which goes against everything agile was supposed to be.

The partition key limitation is something you can work out with smart partitioning and horizontal scaling. We do the same already with storage/tables to prevent large data blocks at a smaller limit even for speed/lookups/map.
