I thought Lisps called them "dialects" (same as in Rebol / Red). Couple of other terms i've seen... * Pidgin - An attempt to get away from DSL ambiguity! * Slang - This is what Perl6 calls them

Red is still at alpha stage of development. I suspect once it reaches beta level then it main garner more appreciation.

Here's a naive conversion to Smalltalk (tested in Pharo) going up to N=30.... | rec results | rec := [ :y :z | 108 - (815 - (1500 / z) / y) ]. results := { 4. 425/100. } asOrderedCollection. 3 to: 30

That's why it's good to have a cross-platform path datatype/literal baked into the language. For eg. in Rebol/Red - http://www.rebol.com/r3/docs/datatypes/file.html

You can even get Pharo to run on AWS Lambda - https://gitlab.com/macta/PharoLambda However what's really interesting is that it serialises any crash to S3 which you can then pull down and run/fix in your loca

Perl6 & Smalltalk also have them (conditions&restarts). And i've seen modules to add condition systems to perl5, Ruby & Clojure. But these are kinda of hacks so the more languages that have it baked-in the better!
