This is not for a hospital. Its for physicians in private practice. It's $700 per physician per month and hardly anyone is signing up. I'm sure for very large groups there is discount pricing and they must be signing up, but for smaller gro

It's great to see more and more companies tackling the healthcare industry. Although you can get the most cutting edge medical treatment in terms of surgical procedures and CT scanners - storing and communicating most types of data is archa

This is just another example of Microsoft not having their act together. I mean, forget Windows Phone 7, but Vista was just a disaster. The company nearly sacrificed it's main revenue source. Apple isn't exactly known for being transparent

Well, this is good, but Apple's bigger contribution is allowing donations via iTunes. They have over 200 million credit card numbers on file - that's powerful.

It seems like a decent idea if that's what you really intend to do with it. I'd get rid of the ads at the bottom though, kind of cheapen the look of the site.

The problem, honestly, is not the Valley. It's techcrunch. And authors who write stuff like this. Perhaps he saw the King's Speech, shed a tear and had a burning desire to return home to London where the tech activity amounts to just about

That's interesting. I have the 11" laptop as well. When I first got it, I thought it was too small, but it's so perfectly designed that I can be quite productive on it and don't need anything much larger. The same can't be said for other de

This is a loss for AOL. There are a few reviews which you really look out for, and Topolsky's was always one of them.

"After the horses have run, Elton John will perform". As he did for Rush Limbaughs wedding, who is clearly a homophobe. Take away for me is that Elton John will perform anywhere for money.

They assumed widespread adoption of their platform was sufficient, and saw no need to innovate. What happened to Nokia is what happens to many large companies that become complacent - they gradually lose whatever stronghold they had. One t

This is great, but I wish there were some lessons on coding. Computer programming at some basic level at least should be required of all students - even if they don't make a career out of it, being able to work snippets of code will come in

At it's price point, the iPad 2 is almost impossible to beat. I'm not even sure why other tablet makers try, at least in this size range. Apple doesn't, as of yet, make a smaller tablet, and that's where the competitors should focus. Like a

I use whatsapp which, I'll readily admit, is not without its flaws, but it's available across multiple platforms and has a fairly large user base. It also runs on blackberry in addition to iOS and android and, fwiw, symbian. I also like the

I tried your demo but it didn't work for me. I opted to verify by phone, got the phone call, entered the verification code but it said verification code incorrect (i typed it correctly - did it twice).

Well the Xoom has now been released as well, so in theory it's competition as well. But you are right, in reality there is no competition. There are a lot of people out there who think competition is on specs alone - #slots, ports, ram, mem

Disagree, although it was wrong for Job's to misquote Samsung. Regardless, just because Samsung's tablet sales are "smooth" rather than "small" that doesn't mean that it's selling particularly well. It's not. Nor is the Xoom. I mean c'mon

Personally I am pleased to see more of an effort being made of late with advancing health care technology. It's a fact - doctors are using the iPad. I see more and more of them in the hospital. I'm not certain whether this will lead to wid

Not sure if I agree with this article. None of the LA companies he mentions have been home runs or anything even close. And NYC is a different story altogether - there's one VC (USV) basically trying to run the entire show, with a supportin

I have to admit WebOS on a tablet size screen seems like a thing of beauty. Multitasking on this device is much more of actual multitasking than it is on the iPad. It's one of the reasons I never kept my iPad. The fact that they did not an
