> Linked clones aren't used in ESXi Huh? What do you mean? They absolutely are. I've made extensive use of them in ESXi/vsphere clusters in situations where I'm spinning up and down many temporary VMs.

Wikipedia puts the average distance between 'roids at about 600,000 miles, so I'm going with no. Also mentioned is the estimate that the mass of the entire belt is thought to be 3% of weight of the moon. That's crazy tiny, co

Keeping in mind that this server appears to implement only a tiny subset of the features the ones it is benchmarked against do... No lighting, mob spawning, mob ai, redstone functionality, tree or plant growth, water/lava flow, etc.

I was a user of one of the Fandom wikis this group took over. Moving the information to a better platform is fine. What wasn't fine is how they made every single page on the existing Fandom wiki redirect to a meme page that didn't

There's some weirdness around focus going on here, hopefully this comes across as constructive criticism. All of them have the same problem: When you click on the video itself, the left and right arrow keys work to scrub the video back

If you don't have a thermal camera, you can also paint rubbing alcohol onto the board and watch where it evaporates the quickest. Obviously, this only works for low voltage stuff...

MacOs ships with the `say` command and once in awhile I'll do something like `longRunningProcess ; say its done`, but not beyond that.

I don't cook, but I solder. And I got a lot of mileage out of a dirt cheap Radio Shack iron. Well, I do cook, but I'm not into it or as skilled at it to the degree I am with soldering.

I'm not sure what that has to do with better vs worse tools. Expensive knives get dull too. Good chefs, on the other hand, keep their equipment in working order regardless of its value.

I am completely confused by your example. Buying a better knife doesn't make you a better chef. Buying a faster car doesn't make you a better driver. Buying a more powerful laptop doesn't make you a better developer.

An odd position to take seeing that the same article mentions the IA refusing to take down "terrorist content." "Terrorist content" is certainly worse than piracy or people being dicks online and obviously presents an gr

I've been out of web development for awhile, and it took me way too long to figure out what this actually does. I don't think the article does a good job describing it. From what I gather, this new feature lets you write: fr

According to World Population Review and corroborated by other sources, the Netherlands has 91 PCs per 100 people. So your assumptions aren't that far off, actually. If anything, your assumption is lower than reality because a househol

I don't doubt that that many watts is easy to cover - eventually. The problem is that it can be instantly turned on and off, whereas the grid takes time to shed load or add capacity. I found a figure on Wikipedia saying that the NL

I can make my computer wildly vary the amount of power it is drawing by performing different things in software. Max out the CPU and GPU load and it will instantly change from drawing ~100 watts to 500 or more. There have been plenty of bot

I do find it fairly surprising the lengths people go to to create false information and trash a website they claim to not like or want to use. I'm sure there's a better use for that time.

What's comical about this is that most apps ALREADY have a persistent icon on the screen - the Dock icon. From what I've seen, most mac users don't enable dock hiding, so it's always there. It's just bad design.

Aren't those relative positions and velocities predictable enough? I believe NASA regularly makes predictions somewhat like this, such as when specific large asteroids are predicted to come near earth.
