Fun read. I suspect engineers who never made an online game before were the developers behind Microsoft's side of this.

I've seen agile/scrum implemented very well exactly once. I could say some clichés about well-meshed gears. It was a great experience to work within. Was it just a well built team or did agile/scrum actually help? I think the

I don't think it's surprising at all that an article posted on a Ycombinator.com subdomain about news talks about Ycombinator-related topics.

I'm not so sure. I mainly used the airpods as a mic for Zoom calls so the content is voice either way. The quality degradation is drastic enough that I don't even try to use the Airpods on my computer for voice calls anymore. Howe

Audio / bluetooth on macs is currently a total disaster. My newer macs - mainly a 2019 15" - have some truly bizarre behaviors around these. One example is that if I switch 3.5mm audio cables too quickly it starts routing audio to

I think your argument makes sense but the example you gave is far too extreme. Also, isn't splitting things into small services instead of large beasts full of hidden behavior the basis of the argument in favor of microservices?

Neat, although with Wikipedia dealing largely with sentence-based text, I was hoping for something that does text-to-speech. It would be cool if for each edit a voice would read the article title and the updated sentence(s).

Bugginess and performance are areas that can be fixed with patches. What can't be fixed with patches is that the image of this game the developers sold to players was based on lies. There's a laundry list on reddit: https:/&
