Oh, it’s been a year and a half and I still feel lost, miserable, betrayed, and so on. My life literally got flipped upside down. I’m definitely not the right person to ask how to get over it. My attempts mostly include focusing on my child

I wish I had known my wife didn’t love me through my entire 30’s. My 40’s are not what I expected.

Seriously tho, it comes down to dollars and cents and the fact that !important is an option (and not just for font-size). A client says they’ll pay for 30 minutes, the boss won’t let you go over 15, it’s not like there’s enough time to actu

Well, human beings have grown quite accustomed to using symbols to represent actions they need to take. In the United States, I remember learning about Mr. Yuck stickers by the time I was 4, or the shape and color of a stop sign, green mean

I think this would be a problem in terms of accessibility. Gestures are required, text disappears horizontally, no visual indicator that you may have to scroll horizontally… I don’t know, maybe I’m wrong, but I’ve also been a fan of the ham

I hold the media responsible for fooling humans. My concern is that CNN may also be “fooling” me in other ways, but in the same way other outlets have fooled others. Meaning, they have an agenda, they paint a picture of the world through th

Dropbox does this but it’s limited to a certain number of days, so not the exact same thing. I love the idea of a simple hit for everything.

I think my Dropbox is already basically this. It has a revision history of my text files I think.

This article hits the nail on the head. I stopped consuming all political, health, and global news the day after January 6th 2021. Pretty much anything that was on CNN/Fox or that half hour after the local news. I never watched local n

Interesting. If he worked 2 hours a day, 5 days a week, for 1 year (52 weeks), thats 520 hours. He made $6.73 per hour before self employment and income taxes (if applicable). Or $13.46 per day. I’m not sure how you get a good lunch and tui

Am I reading this correctly that you worked 2 hours a day and only made $3.5k all year? Or about $300 a month?

Every service that lets you sign up with Google, Facebook, whatever should require a secondary authentication method, period. They should be very aware that this could happen and their customers need a backup, that’s on them. As for emails,

That’s what I do with my ex but I can’t escape the hurt, depression, and uncertainty during the weeks when they are with my ex. I think most parents fully expect to be parents 100% of the time once they have kids. I don’t want, don’t need,

Well, they never said the bots they are using also use the latest AI technology. It just says "bots". These could be purposely flawed bots, with AI only good enough to create rubbish, hilarious, fantastic rubbish.

Maybe I didn’t read it close enough, but workplaces that want their employees to be “family” are destructive to the actual families they have at home. I actually attribute my divorce in part to my ex wife’s workplace making her truly believ

I learned to cook a lot from the 3x5 cards my mom has in a cupboard. They list stuff like a "pinch" of salt or a "stick" of butter. Sometimes I'll make her dinner from her recipe and she'll be surprised and say
