To make the function generic over some lifetime 'a, similar to how generic functions can be generic over some type T (e.g. foobar<T>). This is usually not necessary to write as it is elided in common use cases.

I may be misremembering my graph theory class, but isn't the necessary and sufficient conditions for an eulerian path just that every vertex needs to have even degree? I'm not sure how it could work if any nodes had odd degree.

There's the reality that there's considerable althetic differences at the highest levels. By not grouping at the source you'll end up with almost all women being strictly lower in the rankings, which is undesirable for obvio

It's an uncharitable paraphrase of the article, with some context added. Stop Boosting is an annoying euphemism for 'take them out of the spotlight' aka cancel.

This gets quoted in every online conversation as if it solves the issue neatly. It more often than not functions as a mental shortcut, and skips over the concerns raised above. Why should we tolerate the given 'just' intolerance?

I appreciate you sharing the article, and shedding further light on these important issues. I personally don't see 'other' issues in this case, as this article describes a symptom and not a cause. The focus on race is at best

Could you elaborate? I'm not quite sure what you're trying to say. Businesses are only concerned with ethics if it improves their bottom line. 'Free' money in uncertain times is an opportunity any business will seize if

In other news, larger corporations are more white-owned, and had the resources to wrangle the PPP loans. This is a case of small businesses not having the resources to acquire the loans in the first place. Mixing in race obfuscates and dist

Of course, you legally aren't obligated to attribute. There may even be valid ethical reasons for not wanting to attribute. It's not a good reflection of character to make immature jabs and denigrate the person asking as a 'j
