This is not to sound contrarian, but I genuinely believe and have had the exact opposite experience to everything you describe. Method 1 is preferred for me, because it's actually going out there and "doing it". It makes me f

I think the issue is that I'm incapable of having that relationship with lists. Kind of like how some people can't help themselves with alcohol, and others are totally fine with it.

The thing is, what if you're learning something particularly complex? How do you go about documenting what you need to do, because a simple list like that wouldn't seem to suffice? Maybe my issue is how I go about documentation, a

Interesting, thank you for that. What are your thoughts on documentation separate from the activity itself? Do you see it as something useful, or how do you go about approaching that?

I think I get the sentiment of what you're saying, but I'm not sure what it would look in practice. For example, how would that apply to learning a card game like Magic?

I think this will always be the case as long as there's inequality of any kind in the world. People will do extraordinary things to get themselves into a better position. I mean, just look at the things people are doing to migrate to o

Isn't the obvious answer here just to require all ships passing through the red sea to equip anti-drone technology? I understand those interceptor missiles are super expensive because they're designed to shoot down everything, but

I had the opposite experience with FL Studio. I think the problem is that there's too many different ways to do the same thing in FL Studio, whereas Ableton Live keeps it pretty simple in terms of workflow. There's no session mode

It's funny, because I went full Bitwig after being dissatisfied with the lack of certain workflow features in Ableton Live (for example, no customisable shortcuts, crappy bounce workflow etc.) ...and while I loved Bitwig, and while Bit

Boredom though, is a very valid feeling. A bored species doesn't get very far, and maybe for us humans, feeling like we're getting somewhere is how we operate. When I think about it, I think that's probably why I've been

His latest documentary on the fall of the soviet union was fascinating, although admittedly very dry and difficult to watch since there was no commentary. I feel that's really only for hardcore Curtis fans, which I'm sure, he know

I don't know if this comment will be found in the sea of great comments in this thread, but I think this article is the answer to Adam Curtis' film Hypernormalisation. The premise is that humans are currently trapped in an endless

Problem is that apartment quality in Australia is beyond bad. We have quite a lot of apartments, but no one wants to live in them for that reason. But yeah, if they were better quality I imagine people would move into them.

I'm surprised more people don't use Firefox, even from a practical point of view. The main reason I use it as my main driver is because I use Chrome for all my work stuff. I then use Firefox for all my personal stuff, so it separa

That seems a lot more complicated than just coding it. How would you go about drawing a box shadow on the sliders? What if you wanted a background image behind it? How would the model know that it's a box-shadow, or that the background
