Considering all the endless meetings, conferences and discussions scientists have to attend and find room to do research in between, I doubt that the issue is a lack of means for them to discuss... I also highly disagree that publishing doe

I'd argue that it really depends on the kind of criticism. What I had in mind was more along the lines of accusing someone of wrongdoing rather than just criticizing them. I think tagging someone when you're accusing them of wrong

I tend to use the two interchangeably, since most websites don't really differentiate between them on the user-facing side.

Not to mention people attempting to slander others behind a block (so the person being slandered has no idea until the damage is already done), or temporarily unblocking to say something to someone, and then blocking again.

I've been waiting for this for a while, this has been pretty blatant for a while now. Credit card processors end up having unjust influence over every business that has a significant online component, and the processors don't hold

That can seem like a big deal at first, but it's pretty normal since these things are at the cutting edge of technology. Theories or highly simplified versions of experimental techniques are often proposed decades before the technology

Unsurprising considering how a lot of other media has become nothing but an endless series of big budget, overly "safe" or overly ideologically motivated remakes/adaptations.

Most people already put their expensive thin phones in thick cases, so, no, besides dumb teenagers, I doubt anyone would care. But simultaneously, I don't know if that many people would consider it to be selling point either nowadays.

It's a big chunk of confirmation bias (you don't remember all the times when that doesn't happen) and all sorts of less obvious behavioral correlations, like, if you tend to talk to someone weekly, and it's been a week s

I think it'd be clearer to say they did fundamental research as part of nuclear weapons research. The goal of the facility is to perform testing that can help to validate the continued functioning and yield of the nuclear weapon stockp

Back in undergrad I had to attend an event that was about these extreme social justice-y topics, and yeah, it was pretty self defeating. Was my first exposure to that kind of thing outside of the internet. It was kind of offensive, since a
