Is it really a downside that Gnod Search is barebones? I thought that is a conscious design decision. Personally, I prefer to quickly go through a simple page with an input box and search buttons than to go through a page with a background

You should probably explain what it does. When I click your link, I get a message "how do you want to use messanger, web or app?". I clicked "web" and was greeted with a fb login page. At this point I gave up.

Do you guys think our emails on Yahoo mail are safe after this? I will backup mine as soon as I find the time to do so. Yahoo has a terrible track record regarding emails. I already lost one due to inactivity. They gave it to somebody else.

I don't want the OS to talk to anywhere except for a clearly defined, lean, verifiable process that fetches security updates. That's why I use Debian. And hope they do the right thing.
