I really like something about this. I wouldn't call it a hyperlocal flea market, that makes me think of craigslist for my block, when I think what you're trying to do is more of an etsy meets gumroad.

internet access is not a human right. the crimes this guy is on trial for mostly took place on the internet... he can talk to his lawyers on the phone. he should be happy to be out of jail and go enjoy the outdoors!

I agree with the sentiment that Apple probably wouldn't do this on purpose, but the last lost prototype made it on to the cover of just about every commuter rag in the world... That's a lot of free eyeballs.

This is one of the major strengths of YC. They can build a small, profitable company with customers that read HN and TC. This gives them time to build a good product. Once they have that down they can go out and raise some money to help the

One thing I'd like new task managers to do is import tasks from other apps like Things or Rememember the milk so I can get going quickly. But it looks good!

You don't really need an app for that. I transfered all our domains away from GD and it's actually pretty easy once you get the hang of it. The settings (mostly just nameservers) transfered automatically.

sounds like a good idea in theory, but the reason some businesses tend to like groupon is that it brings NEW customers in the door. it's a marketing platform and businesses know that can be expensive. 50% is a lot to pay for a customer rewa
