Well, in my experience, systemd has much worse documentation, is very inconsistent (or you could say it is constistantly brain-dead), and extremely unreliable and unpredictable, since it often hangs when shutting down and rebooting.

This article is why I see LLM's as a dead end and not real AI. LLM's are somewhat useful for things related to language. LLM's are a decent search engine. But LLM's are not AI.

Updating glibc is a huge pain. Using a new version of gcc or clang can cause a lot of problems. I try to avoid updating those.

I dread Linux kernel updates. Still running a 4.4 era kernel. Kernel versions have always been hit or miss, some are good, others introduced a new bug. Sometimes it's necessary to upgrade glibc as well which is a huge pain.

I think the Gravis Ultrasound is in the same category as the Apple IIGS sound card, which came out in 1986. And I put the Apple IIGS sound card much further ahead than the Amiga Paula.
