What about PI? We can represent it in terms of "we know what we are talking about" and we can distinguish it from other numbers.

No. Rational number are countable, but have the same property of zero probability for an item in a uniform distribution.

I would argue that the distribution you used to pick a random number was not uniform. Not all the real number were equaliy likely to be picked by you. Hence the probability for some numbers was > 0.

Same here. I'm working on a software project (java) for years and I wrote zero testing code. The problem is that my java code is straightforward and pretty much a thin layer between complex slq-magic and external API's. Yes, I cou

It's not about the time to access the video. It's about restrictions built into software and hardware. I don't care about video access. I care about beeing in control of my software and hardware.

I don't know. For me it's as simple as right-click on the link and choose "block this item" from context menu. Ok, often I need to adjust the suggested css-selector to block the item permanentely. But the general rule is

Maybe the lower wage for women can be seen as a compensation for the risk that they get pregnant? It's more a problem for small companies, I guess.

The first billion of digits of Pi might look pretty random, but there might be a short program which genrates them - which can be considered a compressed form. In general, it is impossible to decide how good a given string might be compress
