Have you created an issue/suggestion? I believe Slack is an electron app so it might be easy to implement.

The real issue is that old hardware use a lot of electrical power. You can get a small Single Board Computer with at least as much computing power as those but using 20 to 30 time less electrical power, and fitting in the palm of your hand.

Does Widevine CDM work on Firefox on Linux? If so, why would Google allow this but not for other OSS browsers?

by dorfsmay 1y ago
Agreed. So many good working devices go to waste because no longer supported by Google and the hardware manufacturers. They have good cameras, good wifi etc... we should be able to reflash them and install whatever OS we want on them. It&#x

A lot of software like banking and governments' identification won't work on old Android versions.

I do the same with Python, replacing multilevel comprehensions with intermediary steps of generator expressions, which are lazy and therefore do not impact performance and memory usage. https://peps.python.org/pep-0289/

The problem with diets based only on calories is that they don't take satiety into account, nor health. Calories is what makes you gain/lose weight, it's basic physics. Satiety is what makes you want to eat more/less. Nu

On my model "deep cleaning" of the dishwasher, some other functions I think, but that I didn't care for.

I have button and LEDs, and it works fine without wifi for "basic functions", but for "advanced functions" like washer deep cleaning I would need to use their website.

Bought from a dealership. I don't think he lied, I think he just didn't know about "advanced functions". I never got the "no need for wifi" in written form.

Smart diagnostic sounds good but make it available via Bluetooth or make the dishwasher run a webserver on the local lan. Having to go through their site and their auth means they ultimately control the appliance I paid full price for.

Bosch! I ran into the same situation. I specifically told the salesperson I didn't want wifi, and they told me it's only if you want it to operate from your phone. I was done installing it and got rid of the packaging by the time

There's something to be said for a small set of exercises that works the whole body and that can be done quickly anywhere, that you can use those weeks you don't have time for anything else, or travelling and stuck in small hotels

Another advantage of JSON5 over JSON is that extra comma at the end of a list is not an issue.

yaml is a superset of JSON, which means that any parser that expect yaml will happily consume JSON! Also JSON + comment that's JSON5.
