I've been on the internet since I was about 10 years old (I estimate). My parents knew (and understood) maybe 10% of what I did on there. As a minor, I did multiple criminal things online, some of them successful, others not so much. I

Thanks for sharing Harry Mack, never heard of him, but this took me down an emotional rabbit hole. Amazing what music can do.

I've personally never scaled a B2B&C company from 0 to over 1 billion users in less than a year, but I do feel like it's probably pretty hard. Especially setting up something like a good support organization in a time of massi

Debit is the standard in my country for pretty much everything... Holds aren't actually common and even most hotels ask you to pay the room in advance for short stays. It's a very different world and something like credit card deb

In my country, pretty much everything is debit. A debit transaction costs maximum about €0,25 over here. This would've been about 0,1% of the total transaction. A bank transfer would've been free. Meanwhile, VAT would've been

I recently got a 'discount' for paying my car maintenance in cash. I got cash right next to the garage just to pay in cash. Of course this discount isn't because the owner likes cash, it's because he can just grab the ca

Use localstorage! Kidding, of course. I don't think there's a way to track users across sessions, without storing something and requiring a 'cookie notification'. Which is kind of the point of all these laws.

I use the one from my ISP, unless they're having issues (hardly ever happens). The reason for this, is that in my country, my ISP is tied to strict regulations on (for example) resale of data. Switching to another DNS provider opens me

You comment made me do a bit of research. Apparently the owner of Insider is Axel Springer, which in Germany is compared to Fox News. So I guess that pretty much answers the question (to me at least).
