Superb job. You should build an RSS app. One small nitpick: On Ask HN page you can open the threads only if you click on the comment link. Clicking on thread names doesn't work.

Another note: If you can't make that tool work (I know I couldn't), you can also use something like DownloadThemAll. It works great.

A bit off topic, but it's better to ask here than to create another thread. I'm teaching myself HTML, and CSS and JS (jQuery). Are there any essential Sublime Text packages that I have to install? I searched it on DDG but it wasn&

Yeah, it's like choosing which Linux distro is the best. My point was that market share doesn't exactly translate into better services, better app quality etc. It is certainly a factor though, no point in denying that.

If you're talking about what will make a company more profitable in the future, I agree with you. No one chooses one company over another because that company makes more profit. But in the context of this discussion, I don't think

>Profits matter to the company. Not to you or me. Absolutely. I wasn't trying to say that profits matter to consumers (Indirectly it may effect them though, because more profits means more freedom for a company to try new things wit

Not sure I understand what you're trying to say. The things you've mentioned are completely valid points and they still exist. I'm not trying to overlook Samsung's success, but they _do_ sell tons of different devices wh

He also talked about Jobs extensively on here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4GB-2l9_kc . It really looks like he studied everything Jobs had done, as well as he can. His reasons for accepting the role is kind of funny, b

They haven't said anything about that, for obvious reasons, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. You probably can't run Netflix on it[1], but I bet YouTube would work just fine. [1] Although if I understood correctly, t

Spot on. It's really strange that enormous companies like Microsoft can't see why consumers choose Apple. Maybe they do see it, but can't execute their plan, but I doubt that's the case with Microsoft. What would stop th

What gave you the idea that the US government give a shit about foreigners? Even most Americans don't, let alone the US government. It's appalling. When I was young, America was a model country. At least that's what I though

Try JottaCloud. Their customer service is painfully slow, but their servers are not. Supposedly you're out of NSA's reach as well, but I'm not sure on that. Currently that's the service I'm using, but I still encryp

It seems like a good option. Relatively cheap as well. But are they encrypting my files? On the FAQ page they say that during uploading the data transfer is encrypted, but they don't mention if my files stay encrypted on their server.

I actually prefer a Sublime Text plugin just like in the video, but I'll check Prepros out. Thanks! Edit: Prepros is not the program I'm looking for. Meh.

Speaking of which, is there a website where people share what they "sync" with BTSync? There was a website called 12char.com, but it's dead now. Are there alternatives to 12char?

I'm completely talking out of my ass, but I think Jupiter would also block out the sun. But even with that, Earth would still be a VERY hot place, right? All that pressure from Jupiter must create some heat (along with the increased vo

I did use it on Chrome and it worked perfectly well after I allowed the browser to use my webcam. For what it's worth my webcam is Logitech C270. This is a neat project by the way. Thank you for your work.

This is pretty neat. I'll definitely use it for awhile to see if I can get used to it. One small nitpick: After I imported all my feeds, I had to rename my feeds which is not a problem because the names of my feeds are terrible by defa
