Thinking Strategically by Avinash Dixit and Barry Nalebuff is a fantastic way to start. You can pick it up without any prior knowledge of game theory. I'd also recommend Ken Binmore's Game Theory: A Very Short Introduction .

I couldn't agree more. I am using a different note taking app beside Evernote because I just can't stand the interface and usability of their Mac and iOS apps. But their OCR feature is by far the best on the market so I have to ke

mpv is barebones so it doesn't, but you can integrate Subliminal ( https://github.com/Diaoul/subliminal ) to it.

I have a private blog that I write for my own to better my writing skills. I use Ulysses (the app) with a custom style (CSS) and extract my posts to an HTML file. I then upload the HTML file and the CSS file, which Ulysses also extracts, to

Mozilla reportedly doesn't make money from Pocket [1]. So the money is not the issue. Your guess is as good as mine as to what is. [1] https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/38aorv/psa_mozilla...

Unfortunately that's what Mozilla does now. They force these so called features on their users, but they don't get enough crap for it for doing so simply because they can be disabled. Most people miss the point that majority of pe

My pleasure! Great to hear that Mac version is a possibility. Is following you on twitter the best way to get notified about that? Good luck with the app, I hope it does well.

This looks really good. I'm not reading anything epub length on my phone but if I were, I'd give this a shot. Big thumbs up for a great product page as well. So many people screw this up. Two problems I noticed with the website: -

I'm glad they're focusing on fixing major problems such as newcomers finding the functionality of the favorite button confusing, instead of trying to find new ways to deal with abuse on Twitter.

You clearly misread or didn't read my comment because I didn't say anything about not taking your Yubikeys with you while traveling. >The whole point is to use them as part of your authentication chain. I know and that's e

That's my hope as well, but do they even plan on doing that? I know they're working on bringing TextSecure to Chrome as an extension, but that seems to be it. I also agree with khed. Signal needs to hide metadata.

If the setup screen stays the way it is, this is probably never going to take off. The fact that it's officially coming from Tor devs is important and I'm sure people who already use Tor can use this app relatively easily, but if

It's a shame that people whose job is to advance humanity have to spend their time dealing with crap like this. I'm glad they've found a workaround but that being said, opening a PDF attachment coming from god knows where isn

I have no idea, to be honest. I probably said that because it's open source (and I'm aware that "open source" isn't synonymous with "secure"). Come to think of it, I shouldn't have said that because I

I noticed the same issue awhile back, but I didn't make a big deal out of it thinking I had no other choice. Good to know they have another format that limits the leak of metadata. Thanks for the post.

By "that number" I meant the percentage of users who're using the latest version of Android. Lollipop's numbers will eventually get higher, but by that time there'll be 2 or 3 newer versions of Android.

I wouldn't so firmly say "not anymore" when only 15% of Android users[1] are on the latest version of Android almost a year after its release. That number probably won't go any higher over time either because Android
