I love it! Especially the editability of the landing page itself! I really hope this takes off - so much more creativity-inducing than squarespace or whatever! Does not really work for me since i am not really the target audience, but i rea

I think finding a good balance between performance and development time & risks is important and C does not seem like a very good choice regarding the second part. At least for web stuff.

Why does management experience make you unhirable? I do program every now and then in my spare time, but not to the extent the original commenter does in his spare time. Interview wise i am doing fine, albeit not for FAANG type roles.

I have been in a more management or consulting focused role for 3 years now and i already fear that i am loosing my effectiveness as a programmer. How did the transition back to programming go for you?

Since the HN crowd is really pro-nuclear and in my bubble nobody is maybe somebody could explain how to handle nuclear waste and if modern reators are really as safe as it is often portraied in the comments here. Even modern reactors would

Sure, not having any hard skills at all disqualifies, but at some point you are good enough to do work and the social ability becomes the bottleneck. It is not about being fun to work with (this is a nice bonus, sure), but having the abilit

I welcome the reduction in energy consumption, but do not understand how a Proof of Stake approach does not effectively make Etheureum extremly uninteresting for non-whales.

For your use case i would recommend getting an android phone that has good support for a custom rom of your choice. IMHO all the straight-up linux phones are not capable of replacing a smartphone for everyday use.
