If that's the criteria then we still have an inconsistency: tobacco and alcohol should be banned. The alternative is to be consistent in the other direction (which to some that are after "freedom" sounds more appropriate).

I'm also curious about this but don't really understand this explanation. Can you elaborate more on what "uncloneability of digital assets" means exactly and why it's a pre-requisite of proof-of-stake? Happy to take

There is a lot of parallels with Matrix here. I'm sad to say that the Element client just isn't polished enough to win me over Discord. Most people, including myself, don't really care about the proprietary nature of Discord.

This is really cool. Just a bit of pedantry: is Python higher-level than C? If so this isn't a transpiler but a compiler :)

I'm also not sure why I'd use WSL2 and there are at least three big problems I ran into with it straight after upgrading: * It broke my ability to flash my ESP32 via USB (guessing WSL2 has trouble accessing USB devices) * It uses

I’ve built a lightweight Discourse clone that you may be interested in checking out. We use it for the Nim programming language forum. https://github.com/nim-lang/nimforum

Seatbelts also affect your passengers (if you are wearing no seatbelt then your body can kill your passengers). So it's not just a personal decision.

I disagree with this and I guess most here. I think the screenshot that Drew displays is actually showing a stale bot that's misconfigured, maybe this is how GitHub's stale bot works by default, but I would say the crucial bit is

That's absolutely fair and we appreciate the donation a lot. One additional thing that would have been fairly cheap: call out the smaller open source projects you donated to. To some the exposure can mean a lot in a blog post like this
