The lack of support for TouchID for WebAuthn has been bugging me to no end. Making WebAuthn more accessible is such a big deal to help stop phishing. It also looks like there’s no priority for moving forward with passkeys. I’m still using F

https://github.com/instant-labs/instant-distance is a compact, fairly readable, pretty fast implementation of the paper in Rust (that I built). We use it for searching aftermarket domains on Instant Domain Search.

In NIP-04 I noticed that DMs can be encrypted using AES-CBC. IIUC, this is not a very robust mode for using AES. Seems surprising for a greenfield project.

Difference in EUR is also pretty crazy. My 16" M1 Max was about EUR 1000 cheaper than a similarly specced M2 Max, about a 28% increase.
