Really? I certainly have used commit messages and seen others do the same. Perhaps this is more an indictment of the quality of the commit messages than anything else. In my experience, rebase and squash makes it easier to collect work into

In the workflow example, is ` Purchaser.purchase` supposed to be `do_purchase`?

Thanks for posting this project! I’ve been curious about wasm with rust and I found your code to be really easy to follow, and gave me a really good idea of how I could get started with a similar project. Kudos!

Unrelated to the content of the announcement, but the scrolling behavior of the 'threads' at the bottom of the page is really neat. I'll need to look into how that was done - I've seen similar things before but I can

This might also be a bit easier than it seems. I've done similar (though not nearly as nice of a UI) with `unstructured`.

Why would that be the case? A low rate mortgage has some value, so I would expect the buyer to pay more for the house as a result.

Maybe a little more than half-baked, but I wrote https://thetortoise.io It's a monte-carlo powered retirement simulator. I use it from time to time to do my own planning. I thought people would like it, but I think it'

Likely a gross underestimate, given all the financial (both investment and risk) modeling done with excel.

Thanks for your work on that! I use custom JavaScript functions to hit our internal analytics API. It was really nice to work with.

Thanks for the information. It sounds like an interesting program. The FAQ you mention does do a good job of answering these questions. I wish that was more front and center instead of at the very bottom of the footer. My comment was more a

I have to say, the "What is Job Corp?" page does not directly answer the question at all. It sounds like some kind of school? Do students pay tuition? Is it free? What do they learn? How long does it take? Where is it?

Obviously there's a lot going on here, but one major factor is going to be discounting future earnings. Lower inflation means lower interest rates which means that the present value of future money is higher. So, in other words, growth

Is that actually true? As an example, curiosity cost about $2.5B [0]. It was flown on an Atlas V 541 which costa about $150M to launch. So it looks like development and operation of the rover is FAR more expensive. [0] https://ww

A follow on question to this that I've wondered is if they reduced the reliability of some of their probes, would they be able to build more of them? Could they send probes/rovers to additional bodies more quickly? Obviously the f

With all the captchas and human-verification screens showing up, I thought this was a pretty interesting and timely product.

I’m using this for an internal ChatGPT UI clone and it’s working great. The actual biggest pain for me has been the front end handling of it with the fetch api. But that’s likely just due my inexperience with it.

Good point. The flip side is that allowing anyone to transact in options makes the pricing far more efficient.
