One can even envision an extension which fetches the caching dates automatically and shows them right beside the search results.

I use ditto too and set it so it has everyting I copied in the last 2 weeks. It's really nice to be able to instantly retrieve some text which I copied 4 days ago, for example.

If you copy your password then use it and then delete the item from the clipboard manager manually.

You can use emacs with vim-keys or any other config you like. I never used the built in keys for cursor movement (I use the arrow keys), buffer switching (I define my own more efficient key), etc.

Let's say Clearview says they are deleting the data. How could France make sure the data is actually deleted? Is it possible without perusing Clearview's source code and accessing its servers?

Why don't they sue them in a Russian court? There are laws against cybercrime there too.

I've used Wokrave for many years which forces me to take regular breaks. Sometimes it can be annoying when it interrupts your flow, but as far as I'm concerned my eyes are worth a bit of annoyance. https://workrave.en.s

According to emacswiki anything.el (which was the predecessor of Helm) started in 2007. Compared to that Sublime v2 which had the command palette according to the article, came out in 2013.

Emacs should also have been mentioned, because M-x is a simple command palette and it's there for 30-40 years or so.

I guess a hiker stops from time to time to rest, so surely he has time to check the texts.

He didn't read the texts either? It takes a second, they are right on the phone's notification screen, assuming he had a smartphone.

Dirty cars would be reported, so the previous user has to pay for the cleaning and the current user could get a free ride for the inconvenience. If people have to pay for cleaning then they will pay attention to keep the car clean. Of cour

If using this taxi fleet is cheaper than owning a car and you can have a car outside your house in at most, say, 5 minutes then most consumer will be happy to take it. Choosing no car maintenance, no other hassle and cheaper is a no brainer

Obviuosly, some people prefer that (and I guess high end car users like going fast and doing the switching up manually), but others don't. Most people who use their cars mostly in the city where the traffic is often slow, you drive in

Untargeted ads means less revenue, so if we go that way prepare for free sites going away or having to pay for some features. E.g. basic Gmail will be free, but if you want something like Undo Send, etc. then you'll have to pay a month

Emacs has built in documentation. Learning emacs lisp is a good start: https://www.gnu.org/software/emacs/manual/html_node/eintr/in... This manual is also the part of the emacs distribution.
