I sincerely hope and pray it doesn't. I have already ruined my life with a smartphone to the point that without a phone I feel powerless and rudderless and am constantly fidgeting. A smartphone is also toxic in surfacing constant negat

Citation needed for both of your claims. The latest I found is that the average Model 3 selling price is 60k, which would become 50k at best with tax credits. Right in line with your BMW number [1] [1] https://insideevs.com/

Toyota was founded in 1937, so it has a 80 year head start. I didn't say anything about market cap, but Toyota's is not valued as a growth stock.

While we can argue whether the $50B market cap is too much, i was only commenting on a hard rule around valuation and earnings for a company in growth mode. I mean, I haven't looked at the P/E ratios but I bet Amazon's will l

Tesla just sold 63K Model 3s in a single quarter. Despite availability of Leaf and Bolt [both are cheaper]. None of the vehicles you have listed are true competitors to Tesla at this time. True competition will be something like an electric

"Automaker sold 63,150 Model 3 in the fourth quarter" - [and this is only in North America] What Tesla has achieved is truly unbelievable and it is kind of hilarious to see HN meltdown and Tesla bashing. To give you a perspective

>>At $50B Market Cap, Tesla should be delivering at least $2B Annual profits There is no rule like that on a growth stock. You don't value growth stock on a P/E ratio, but some measure of future discounted cashflows.

Tesla is not “owned” by Larry Ellison. He is just one among many directors in the board, who have a limited set of responsibility to advocate for shareholders and provide corporate governance. They don’t really play major role in execution

It probably understates the SF market, TBH. As some of the largest employers in SV who hire en masse rarely post jobs in HN. Such as Google, Facebook, Apple, Salesforce, Uber etc. Also, Google, FB, Uber, Airbnb and others have a boot camp s

I hire a lot in SF. A remote address in the same country is usually not a barrier as we will fly people in if they make it to the on-site round. The bigger challenge is actually standing out among the 400-500 resumes we receive per job. A r
