You can build a system that simply controls commercially sourced, UL listed, mains equipment. That top level comment mentioned using IR but you can also control cheap 433Mhz outlets with simple transmitters and a library like rc-switch for

Try passing around 64bit integers in json. The majority of json implementations only implement double float numbers and will mangle your 64bit ints. The usual solution is passing int64s as strings, nasty.

Calling all traffic collisions accidents is misleading. There are few true accidents, as in an event that is unavoidable. If a driver has a stroke or has a well-maintained tire blowout due to a manufacturing defect, that's an accident

Please just use the ISC license. It's a permissive license that is as short as modern law allows. It's well understood and accepted. It's the default license for node.js packages and the preferred license for OpenBSD. https:

It's not a real quote but suppose it is. A man had a concern 2000+ years ago. Somehow we are still here so similar concerns now are invalid. Is that your argument? If I find an ancient quote complaining that people were drinking too mu

Just checked my local water quality report and it has no mention of plastic fibers. That means I'm safe right? Not at all. Testing for the absence of specific dangers is not the same as safety. Consider getting a reverse osmosis system
