Not it's not. It's time to stop supporting ad-based businesses. Install an adblocker. Install an adblocker on your friends' and family's computers.

I'm aware. My point was that the founders of the US Government chose to uphold the principle of free speech. The founders of companies like Google, Facebook and Twitter chose not to.

Nor is a government. But the founders thought the principle of free-speech was a good one and so we have the 1st amendment.

Are the 1000+ bases part of a strategy to avoid nuclear proliferation? America agrees to provide security to its allies and in return its allies agree not to acquire nuclear weapons? How else are Brazil, South Korea, Indonesia etc... able t

Yeah, Calepin was one of the services which inspired Blot. Sad to hear it's shutting down: https://twitter.com/calepinapp/status/631518650051231744

There are a few features which I couldn't find in existing static platforms, including live drafts and instant publishing. Check out the video on the homepage for a demo. Blot is also flexible about the type of files it can publish - I

Any word in all-caps is 'converted' to small-caps. This behaviour can be changed, or even disabled, by setting a flag in the options object before processing. I prefer to keep all-caps out of my body text.

Ah shoot, good catch. That page shouldn't be accessible over HTTP. Will push a fix to force a redirect to HTTPS.

The pricing is currently for a single site. No support for multiple sites as of this moment. And not yet, I'll have to look into MultiMarkdown. Those features sound like a good idea.

Awesome, thank you for giving it a try! These are all good features to have. 1) About page and custom pages are on the to do list. I need to work out a simple way to add this content from the user's perspective. 2 & 3) Great idea f

These are all great ideas. Media embedding is already possible using markdown. I plan to add a feature to embed media that you put inside Blot's folder. Here's what I'm planning to add to Blot, roughly ordered by priority. 1.

Thank you! Blot does support all of markdown. You can indeed use code blocks! The title is generated from the first H1 tag if there is one. Scaling the site is honestly something I'm going to have to learn more about. I'll set up
