100% agreed. Good question. Though parents haven't really been able to control what children consume (and having been a child, I wouldn't have let my parents keep me away from something I wanted).

Okay... First of all, children are not actively engaged with media. They can appreciate art, but for the most part they are not having a conversation with what they consume, so, yes, we should be aware of what they consume, because, again,

I agree with your first sentence, but what's being said is troubling is the message that American military power should be unchecked.

But kids aren't consuming COD as art. Maybe many many years from now we can appreciate it aesthetically, like we do some propagandic speeches, but right now it's very clear that COD drives a very certain message to the people who

The way the bot sounds disappointed/bewildered at the end of the call is absolutely amazing, as is the fact that the telemarketing company also denying that they use robots.

RJS was the most awful experience of old Rails. This comment has no other utility, it was just really ugly and depressed me and I've never gotten to say that before.

Clearly I do believe that information should be regulated, since I support FDA's ban of 23andme disseminating statistically inconfident yet severe medical information the way they do. Because of the way people react to it, I do not thi

Thank you for asking. I decided not to view information about Alzheimer's and Parkinson's because the abnormality they reveal is a genetic variant that you cannot, like, read crossword puzzles to avert. It's just bad news. If

If Google tested 42 shades of blue once there'd be no story. The problem is that that sort of testing was a part of the process and was crippling.

Oh, right. I'm sorry. I think there are some ideas that cannot be broken down and you really do have to be reckless to try them - they deserved a mention because otherwise my comment was too general. They're dangerous but they

There are cases when you're wrong: ignorance is better than very, very, very severe information without context. I chose not to view whether I have risk for Alz, Parkinson's, and carry BRCA because I will not be able to process th

You are demanding something you're just not going to get. You want it to be clear that a solution will work. Next you'll say you want market research. Next you'll say you want to test 42 shades of blue. This is why it's

Sort of... though just to nit-pick a bit, an application should never feel like it's doing you a favor (Heyday doesn't). It should feel like it completely defers to you. But we agree.

My statement was overly general; when something affects your mind, that's a whole other area - life advice is necessarily useful only to those who can act on it, unfortunately. There are also those who have been so forgotten by society
