I highly recommend ComponentSpace SAML SSO. There is a cost, but well worth it, imo. It's well maintained, support and forum available, fast responses, etc. I tried a few OSS, but they had some limitations that I couldn't get arou

Care to elaborate? You already throw around blanket statements, it's not enough to just say "yes". What's your rationale?

We use .NET at Degreed. I suspect a lot of startups use it, but not many compared to other startups. The problem is that's they're hard to find because they're not actively throwing it out there that they're using .NET.

"good engineers simply want nothing to do with the Microsoft ecosystem" Seriously? I guess the whole swath of .NET developers aren't good engineers...

Interesting read. I'm an engineer and had considered 1 to be prime. I guess you can say that 1 is just an absolute unit.

I'm curious on the sort of questions being asked if it's meant to replace a 360. Typically, 360s aren't sent to a large group because not everyone has enough practical working experience with everyone else.

Equity seems a bit low. I'd push for equal shares across the board. Is this fully diluted percentage? Try to get to know them better and form your own opinions of them.

We need more transparency as well as good willed founders willing to pledge and honor more equitable systems for themselves, investors and employees.

Correct. Also claiming that it's mildly secure is also inviting hackers. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

I like this, but am trying to figure out whether this is an option/possible: 1. Utilize an abstraction to connect to the database or what connection string is used. For example, using AAD vs shared credentials when connecting to the DB

What's the advice these days for when things are behind a reverse proxy or a load balancer, or both? I ran into issues where things end up balancing unevenly when multiple things are mixed.

I think there are some differences though. "Worse" is a term that needs to define quantitatively what is worse. The quality is actually quite good here.

Some places "grant" you your PTO instead and you don't accrue it. They have vague terminology around this and state they don't pay you off when you leave. This happened to me in Utah. Fool me once...

No country is without it's issues. Not excusing what's going on though. With that out of the way, what substantive arguments can you make that leads you to think this is anything like the fall of Rome?

I've yet to look, let alone try, Azure DevOps. There would have to be some compelling reasons to choose that over TeamCity, which I have had nothing but great and positive experiences with. Any big reasons DevOps is something to consid

You can have large repos and it not only be code. I remember seeing repos many tens of gigs because all of VS was versioned as well for "reproducibility".
