Which is why I have been very wary on why almost the entire industry has moved to biometrics. In a way its a cheap way of throwing the privacy gauntlet back to the user rather than standing up to governments.

For things like string processing with messy data or data analysis with data I am seeing for the first time - I do find Python much faster than compiled languages - the interpreter really helps in poking at the data.

The one thing that worries me is that most places do not specify if you will get the same pictures back bit by bit that you stored there. My worst fear is that they will transcode them over time to save space. [This is not limited to Apple
