That's a shame to hear. Seems software support is also an issue (I guess as it often is with mobile hardware).

I'd love a modern equivalent. Maybe have a look at the Gemini by planet computers. Isn't there something you can do with pihole to get browsing? I remember someone doing this where it removes adverts and compresses images for a

I started on the Psion 3a, then 5mx, Nokia E90, Nokia N900. And then sadly I ran out of good options. Nothing beats a good keyboard (though it does also need to be a good one). I would love another clamshell design, maybe with an e-ink disp

There's no doubt that this artist has lost something as a result of AI (the pleasure and enjoyment of their job). But we should also ask if we are at risk of losing something as a society.

That seems strange, odd to throw out all away at that stage, when all the work has already been done and the expense of typesetting it has already been paid. Getting it bound is relatively less, unless they wanted more than one copy. Maybe

I think this is the answer. A PhD becomes it's own monster. Several years dedicated to a single project, it becomes a personal part of your identity. The thought of allowing that to stand up against scrutiny to other professors is a

Yes, same for Linux. During lockdown my kids wanted to catch up with their friends by playing together on Minecraft, but as we had windows at home (and no switches in the store) it was a pain. Thank goodness for the work of someone called

The software technology in the original pixel cameras were using multiple frames of varying exposure to allow for impressive dynamic range in images while still retaining colour and contrast. This is quite a difficult thing to do as requir

Anyone know if it's possible to run a modern distribution on this? I had a bit of difficulty running full-fledged Linux on a Thinkpad X60 due to it being 32bit. Linux mint debian edition came to my rescue, but I wonder if you'd
