Comparing the curves y = 0 ^ x and y = x ^ 0 around zero highlighted the problem to me, but I don't have the maths to understand more than that.

We have a Wii-U. It's actually a very nice machine - if anyone wants a another way of playing Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 and Splatoon I'd highly recommend it. It also has the virtual console, which plays lots of NES/S

Have you tried Nvim-R? I love it. You can send a line to the R console using <space>. I've assigned loads of keyboard shortcuts beginning with your local leader that will do things like str(), levels(), head(), tail(), sum() on

Does the casio run python? I like the idea of having a portable machine I can write quick programs in, but some of these calculator languages are horrible. I'd rather write it in something a bit more mainstream like python or R. The

Yes, and after all, it's not as if learning R will prevent you trying out some models in Excel. In a life-time career, a 40-60 hour commitment for a new string to your bow that is as powerful as R is not a big investment.

One thing that really surprised me about Go — a supposedly simple language — is that you can even do multiple inheritance. And it’s pretty bad. Someone on the golang-nuts mailing list discovered, that Go doesn’t handle inheritance

I wonder how the computing landscape would look like if Amiga and Workbench had been able to continue their innovation and success. Probably still MS dominated.

I had a Psion 3a, followed by a Revo and then a 5MX. What was great about them was the ability to quickly flip them open and take notes, or run a command-line program in it's OPL language, pretty much instantaneously. In the 90s this t
