My macbook is my new desktop machine and my iPad is my new laptop. Dropbox + omnigraffle + numbers + keynote + safari + mail means I basically have all the information I need when I'm out in usable form. I do have a ridiculously large case,

There's a good version for iPhone that runs on the iPad (though not really in any way I'd want to). There's also an Android version, but it doesn't support dropbox. looks forward to retirement

Yeah, mobileorg is decent on the iPhone, but iPhone apps on the iPad are just useless. I basically don't do it and hope it gets updated before I get too frustrated and try to get involved. :)

I wrote an app similar to this many, many years ago and then switched over to mint so I had to do less work. I do agree it sucks that it's slow, but I spend money slowly in general. When I do have a larger expense, I manually add it to min

I just want a client that works with org-mode. I have that for iPhone, but not quite for iPad or Android just yet. That's where it gets universal for me.

Quora is nice and I hope they do quite well, but I don't understand how it's revolutionary. It's been done before. They're free to do it better. Personally, I think SO came up with some really great ways to do this sort of thing. Yahoo a

The Mail reader that ships with Froyo is actually useful. k9 never seemed much better than the useless junk that took up space in 1.5/1.6. With the exception of not being able to move a message to a different folder, it's actually a usefu

It's not a fork. We've done a lot of work on memcached to allow it to support multiple backends on the same network interface. Part of membase is a new memcached backend.

You can't learn this stuff by reading about it, you have to experience it. Some of your counter-arguments are outright confusing to those who have programmed in languages with type inference (hint: they don't necessarily have classes). Exp
