My point with all this is that you can advertise however you want. Naked women, women in bikinis, who cares. However if you do some blatant sexism and want to attract intelligent women into your ranks, or want to attract intelligent men who

At first I assumed it was a hybrid blimp technology that would float above the weather, it's power is only needed for purposes of changing direction and transmitting with a directional antenna. It can have a large solar panel on top for rec

If you are not paying for the product, you are paying in other ways, this just puts a number on it. If you consider the implications, you are paying quite a bit in power in addition to privacy issues. This is why: a) my gps AND network loca

There is a problem, of course. Going to the new url fails to render the site, so view source won't work but neither will bookmarks. And you DON'T want to prevent bookmarking. But good to know this works.

I hate to say it, the problem is 100% valid. Worse is that Android stock interface is GARBAGE. Even if performance is great. the tech unsavvy don't give a shit about customizations and custom launchers. They want a phone that works and is e

Can the same argument not be used for the industrial revolution? The job of the specialists was replaced by technology. The job of the orchestra in theaters was replaced by audio recording/playback technology. And the list goes on. Now it i

I think TDD at times is overkill, but the core components of any app that others stand on MUST BE TESTED. The deeper your component is, the more critical tests are. Because if code a few levels deep breaks, it is much harder to fix/detect t

Well, Eclipse, unlike intellij, has a special workspace directory, you can sync that baby up using dropbox/aerofs. I use intellij/rubymine (jetbrains) and the advantage is that I pretty much check in my configurations along with my repo. Go

Some things I found were highly valued: Creating software fast, and designing it damn well. The latter takes a skill all in itself. I'd suggest partnering up with someone with stills in that. Also 2 people = helpful support structure. Unfor

These stories are popular. What is not is the grind. There are few poster children for Android, lots for iOS. The truth is some Android software does fine, and so does some iOS software. Once 100x more Androids are going to be sold, all of

Would this be considered blackmail, if the media starts getting harassed by the TSA over covering such stories?

I disagree, the sandbox is by far the best defense ever made in a browser. 60k per exploit is quite a good sum. Even for a couple month's worth of work. It should not be a blackmail sort of operation.
