Well, they aren't just telling them not to do it, they are physically dissuading them from doing so. This is probably a lot more effective than a warning sticker to not put the cartridge in their mouth.

Switching to decaf coffee was one of the best health choices I've ever made. I used to regularly have a mild headache on Sunday every week, but I haven't had that once since quitting. It's also super nice to be able to skip c

Great article! I hadn't heard of this, but it sounds like something I might suddenly be using in the near future! Also, I loved this line: "Given the way we're going, humanity in its present form isn't likely to exist th

Actually, I vaguely recall that if the divisor (or whatever the right number is) is negative, the result will be negative. But that's still consistent with math modulus, as is the Python approach. I always miss Python mod when I go to

Read through this whole thing thinking it was filling the "Block & Tackle"-sized hole in my heart, only to realize by the end that this was also authored by John Teti! I'm glad he's still doing it, cause B&T was

Isn't that what Micronaut does, from the creators of Spring? I never used the latter, but I really like working with the former.

He says in one of the first 4chan messages that he's not actually a Lord, he just bought a fake certificate, dressed in a suit, and convinced his bank to have "Lord" added to his credit/debit card.

Funnily enough, that's actually how grocery stores used to operate: people would bring a list of items they wanted to the store, and the employees would go get them. Piggly Wiggly ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pig

All the backend projects I work on were originally written in Java. I'll admit that Streams and Lombok make it a somewhat pleasant experience to work with, at least compared to when I used it in college (I think Java 8 was newest?). Bu

I agree with most of these, but I pretty strongly disagree with #10 (don't use `!= null`). The reasoning is that you can use `null` and `undefined` to mean different things, like `null` being "no first name" and `undefined` m
